Global Islamic Fund Platform (“GIF”)

Aditum is licensed to operate an Islamic window giving us the ability to create unique solutions for Islamic investors who may have previously been limited in terms of asset class, product type and geographic diversification.

Shari’a Investment Management Structure (“SIMS”) is a segregated portfolio service that provides each investor access to their chosen strategy in a manner that is Shari’a compliant.

Within SIMS Aditum has set up the Global Islamic Fund, which is a Segregated Portfolio Company for clients looking for a medium to long term investment horizon with a relatively low frequency of rebalancing, and for those looking for exposure to a wider range of investment strategies in a Shari’a compliant manner.

The Shari’a compliance of the structure has been reviewed and confirmed by the Aditum’s Shari’a Board and the Shari’a Advisor to the Investment Manager, Dar Al Shari’a.

Each Segregated Portfolio (“SP”) under the GIF structure can be tailored to the client’s specific requirements:

  • Shares or Certificates
  • Underlying reference portfolio
  • Liquidity and dividend frequency
  • Share class
  • Charging structures

All end-to-end setup and ongoing operations are handled by Aditum and each SP will be given an ISIN.
